What we do

We Empower

We Empower

We empower families by providing critical resources, connecting them with their children, assisting with access to treatment, and helping with difficult decisions about immigration, sponsorship, and care. We do whatever is necessary to get children released from government custody and into safe, loving homes and communities.

We Educate

We Educate

We educate the public about current and past U.S. immigration policies and their impact on vulnerable children and families fleeing violence. In partnership with research centers and universities, we create data-driven media, articles, and presentations.

We Advocate

We Advocate

We advocate for families by advising lawmakers on the consequences of current policies and the changes required to safeguard the mental and physical wellbeing of children fleeing violence. We do this work in partnership with community and national civil rights organizations.

We’ve reunited over 600 families.
For Families

We are here every step of the way—working for you and with you. Please feel free to contact us right away with any urgent concerns you have about the safety of yourself or your children. If you have concerns about the treatment your children are receiving or have received in government custody, please let us know.

For Advocates

For Advocates

Our work includes collaboration with a wide range of local and global individuals and organizations, including UNHCR and Doctors Without Borders, as well as lawyers, social workers and other advocates within Mexico and Central America. If you are working with a child or family and would like our assistance we would love to hear from you.

See Our Successes

Children fleeing violence deserve protection and care. They also belong in safe, loving homes and communities—places where they can heal, grow, and thrive. We can get them there.
